Security
As a port facility, the GCT terminal meets the requirements of the ISPS Code. The terminal area is fenced and security is guaranteed by modern electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm and fire alarm installation) and a specialised, certified security company.
Since 2016, Hutchison Ports Gdynia has held the status of Authorised Economic Operator – AEO for simplified customs procedures and security and safety. It allows for a more efficient flow of customer documentation, a reduction in the number of customs controls, priority access to control and inspection points, or advance notice of the need to carry out a physical inspection of the goods.

Passes allowing access to the terminal area are issued at the Pass Office located at the entrance gate by Hutchison Ports Gdynia office building (ul. Energetyków 5).
CYBER SECURITY
Based on a decision issued on 3 July 2019 by the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Inland Navigation, the GCT terminal has been recognised as a Key Service Operator in the water transport sub-sector. In accordance with the Act of 5 July 2018 on the National Cyber Security System, we provide information on threats and how to protect against them in the Internet space when using the eXpress avisation system.
